This weekend a team from Yoolk will visit Eastbourne to show you about our directory. We will be in the town center to visit local shops, hotels, guest houses and other businesses in the area. We may also, visit some districts of Eastbourne such as Hampden Park, Langley, Meeds and Polegate.

What we hope to do is acquaint ourselves with the local businesses and simply let you know about the services that we offer (most of which are free!). It is not a sales event it is a marketing event where we simply tell you about us. At this stage we want to focus on the things that we offer you for free, such as profile building, free listings, assistance and online web marketing.

We hope that we will get a chance to speak to as many of you as possible and if you do not hear from us then hopefully you will from your neighbor!

Google Map Link on Listing Page

There is now a link to Google Maps on each and every listing page that has a postal code or valid address (which most listings should have!). For example, check the listing for AGN Catering and look down the right side of the page for the heading “Google Map” and there should be another link which takes you to the map location for AGN Catering.

Listing Relations Described

Another feature is that we can now inform you if the listing is a business or head office listing or if it is a branch or brand listing and so on. This helps to provide detailed relationships between various businesses in Yoolk Sussex. Check Brighton Nurseries and look down the right side of the page for the heading “Related Listings” and then click on one of these. You will see that the related listing (for example Strawberry Hill Nursery) is described as a “branch listing owned by Brighton Nurseries”

We have made available a simple template to get all your details posted to us and make the most of promoting your business for Free on Yoolk Sussex.

It is that time of the year again. Personally I am way past school age but for a lot of you – especially parents – this is a time to stock up with shiny new school items for the new year.
